Part of the Website is hosted in the UK and part in the US with Cloud Ways & GoDaddy. Rules

• Hire STEM Women shall have the exclusive right to expel existing members if it is found that; members behave unlawfully or unethically, if Hire STEM Women services are misused and/or if general behaviour not accepted by Hire STEM Women occurs.
• The user shall be responsible for any actual or potential economic or legal lawsuit against Hire STEM Women as a consequence of the user’s wrongdoing or mismanagement of the profile.
• The user shall be responsible for filling in correct and truthful information.
• The user shall be responsible for any activity that takes place within their profile and for any potential third party involvement solicited or accepted by the user.
• The user shall be responsible for suitable software and technological solutions needed to run HSW site
• The user shall not be entitled to use hirestemwomen.co.uk as a platform for marketing and promoting of own personal goods and services.
• The user shall not be entitled to post or upload any material, which (i) promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; or (ii) infringes any copyright, database right or trade mark of any other person.

Eligibility to use the Website By using the Website, you represent and warrant that:

• all registration information you submit is truthful, accurate and up to date; and
• your use of the Website does not violate any applicable law or regulation.

Users should be aware that we may block or delete your profile and/or cancel your registration if we believe that any information is incorrect or inaccurate or if we have received a complaint about your use of the Website. Fair usage – what you are allowed to do The Website is made available for your use in connection with your participation with HIRE STEM WOMEN . As a result, we undertake that:

Only once we have your permission will we share your information within HIRE STEM WOMEN and with companies registered as partners and clients of HIRE STEM WOMEN , as well as selected third parties deemed appropriate by HIRE STEM WOMEN . Use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Please take the time to review the Privacy Policy carefully, as by using the Website, you agree to be unconditionally bound by this Privacy Policy. If we speak to you on the phone, we may playback the call for internal quality and training purposes. We never share these call recordings with 3rd parties. Except as expressly permitted under these Terms and Conditions, you are not permitted to copy, download, store (in any medium), show or play in public, adapt or change in any way the content of these web pages for any purpose whatsoever without the prior written permission of HIRE STEM WOMEN which we may refuse in our absolute discretion. All intellectual property rights including brand, establishment and information regarding other members belong to Hire STEM Women Limited. The user shall not be entitled to distribute or use any information from Hire STEM Women for commercial purposes or personal financial gains. Risk of transmission You should be aware that the internet is not a completely secure or reliable transmission medium and may accordingly give rise to risk of manipulation or attempted fraud. Neither HIRE STEM WOMEN  nor any of its directors or employees accepts any liability for any data transmission errors such as data loss or damage or alteration of any kind, including, but not limited to any direct, indirect or consequential damage, arising out of the use of the products or services referred to herein, nor any liability in relation to the confidentiality or security of email communication. Access to the Website Due to the nature of the Internet, we do not and cannot promise full and error free operation of this Website at all times.

Uploading photos and pictures

All photos and pictures uploaded to www.hirestemwomen.co.uk or V-Fairs portal must respect the following:

• The photos and pictures must be free from copyrights and/or other restricted or limited use. The user must possess the complete rights to the photos and pictures that the user uploads. No third party must have the copyright or other rights to the photos or pictures that the user uploads. The people visible on the photos and pictures must have given their acceptance of public display.
• The photos and pictures must be clear. Unclear and modified photos and pictures will be deleted.
• The photos and pictures must not contain logos, links and references to other web pages or companies and/or their products.
• The photos and pictures must not include violent, threatening, un-sober or sexual elements. The photos and pictures must not display weapons, money or illegal drugs.

Non-compliance of the above mentioned conditions for uploading photos and pictures could lead to expulsion from this site. Hire STEM Women shall not be liable for the non-compliance of a user. Profile photos and pictures are visible to employers and universities, which is why the regulations for uploading such material are more restrictive than for other categories. The profile photo or picture must only include you. In general Hire STEM Women maintains the right to block or delete all content that shows threatening, hate full or vulgar behaviour. Any profile with discriminating behaviour towards individuals or groups based on ethnic, religious or sexual orientation will be deleted, blocked and reported to the legal authorities. Any profile that pretends to be another person (a false profile) will be deleted, blocked and reported to the legal authorities. Any type of pornographic material will be deleted immediately and without warning. This includes pictures or photos of sexual or erotic character as well as abuse and physical damage of any kind.

Protected material

Content on www.hirestemwomen.co.uk  protected by copyright shall belong to the rightful owner. Other members shall thus not be allowed to use this material without the acceptance of the rightful owner. Any material used but not belonging to the rightful owner and protected by (©, ®, ™) will be deleted or blocked. This includes any picture which is not yours and material which belongs to Hire STEM Women. Extensive distribution of one and the same content is strictly illegal on www.hirestemwomen.co.uk . Profiles showing such behaviour will be deleted immediately. This includes the sending of unwanted emails, chain letters or unwanted commercials such as product promotion and marketing of websites.

Illegal activities

In general any illegal activity shall not be allowed on www.hirestemwomen.couk . The following will immediately be deleted from Hire STEM Women:

• Photos and pictures showing pornographic situations, illegal drugs, cash and weapons.
• Viruses and other computer codes with the aim of harming or destroy IT equipment belonging to us or our members.
• Any activity that motivates illegal activities or distributes knowledge about it such as trade with illegal drugs and weapons.
• This legal notice shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in relation to this legal notice which can not be solved amicably shall be decided by the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Rewards and Referrals From time to time we reward Users for referring friends, and if they get hired by one of our client firms.  The following Terms and Conditions apply in all cases:

• The offers we have may range from third party companies in the form of vouchers or other product offering, it is open only to HIRE STEM WOMEN users. To qualify for such rewards, you must have clicked ‘Apply’ on the relevant opportunity page at www.hirestemwomen.co.uk  and when directed to the third-party recruiters’ page, continue through to completing the application cycle. When asked by the recruiter as to how you heard about the opportunity and/or company you are required to mention HIRE STEM WOMEN. If you are then successful, and accept the offer, you will be entitled to receive the gifts once you have notified us.
• To be eligible for a referral award you must refer your friend/s through the Website directly using the relevant forms and links. If your friend has already applied to join the Website before you recommended them, then no referral reward is payable by HIRE STEM WOMEN.

Distribution of personal data

Variation We may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time by amending this page. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes made, as they are binding on you, but we will give Users as much notice of a change as we reasonably can. Some of the provisions contained in these Terms and Conditions may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on the Website. We may also suspend or terminate HIRE STEM WOMEN  at any time, but we will give as much notice as we reasonably can before we do so. In the event this happens, all  User accounts will be suspended or terminated. If we sell or transfer HIRE STEM WOMEN  to another company we may transfer all of our rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions without any further consent and may disclose or transfer all information we hold about  Users or prospective  Users to a prospective or actual new owner. Such a disclosure or transfer will not alter or affect the rights of such  Users in respect of the use that can be made of such information by such other company. Termination We reserve the right in our sole discretion to deny you access to the Website and remove you from HIRE STEM WOMEN  at any time, if:

• You breach these Terms and Conditions, or any applicable partner’s terms and conditions; or
• You are abusive or offensive to any user of our staff or other  User.

A  User can close his/her HIRE STEM WOMEN  usership at any time by notifying us. If a  User’s usership is closed his/her rights to access any aspect of HIRE STEM WOMEN ‘s services are terminated with effect from the date of notification. Law and jurisdiction These Terms and Conditions and your use of the Website (and any dispute, controversy, proceedings or claim of whatever nature arising out of or in any way relating to these Terms and Conditions, their formation or this Website) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. By using this Website you accept that any dispute under these Terms and Conditions or arising out of use of this Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to which you submit.
